Second year in row for Lisa being nominated for the 2020 Women in Financial Advice Awards

30th January 2020

RobMac director, Lisa Doig has been nominated for the 2020 Women in Financial Advice Awards for the second year in a row in the category Financial Adviser of the Year – Scotland & NI.

This prestigious event celebrates the achievements of women working within the financial advice community and also the broader financial services sector.

In highlighting the achievements of women already in financial advice or the wider financial services world, as well as recognising individuals of either gender who help to maximise the potential of women or are striving to bring about a more appropriate gender balance, the Women In Financial Advice Awards is now looking to play its part by helping to inspire more women to work in an already dynamic sector that, nevertheless, stands a long way short of fulfilling its true potential.

The winners are recognised at awards ceremony in London on the 1st July at the Hilton, Bankside.

Lisa said “I’m delighted to be nominated for the second year in a row for this award. At RobMac we’ve been championing the role of women financial advisors for some time now. We know an increasing number of women are taking control of their financial situation and in the main prefer to discuss their financial position with other women. Recognising this has been good for business too and nearly 50% of RobMac clients are women”.

“These awards help to raise the profile of women in financial services which is still under represented across the sector. So anything that can help with that gets my vote!”.
