“The most difficult subject can be explained to the most dim-witted man if he has not formed any idea of them already; but the simplest thing cannot be made clear to the most intelligent man if he is firmly persuaded that he knows already, without a shadow of a doubt, what is laid before him”

The Robmac Portfolios

  • Asset Allocation
Asset allocation is the process of splitting an investment portfolio over a number of different asset classes with the aim of reducing risk through diversification.
  • Fund Selection
Fund selection - within each asset class we use various filters to select funds to be included in our portfolios.
  • Investment Committee
Our investment committee meets on a quarterly basis to review the asset allocation of, and the past performance of the funds in, our portfolios. Changes are made as and when agreed by the committee.
  • Rebalancing
Rebalancing is the process of bringing your portfolio back to its original mix.
  • Risk Assessment
Risk assessment is required in order to determine the amount of risk you are willing to take in order to meet your financial goals. Once we clearly establish your attitude to investment risk we can recommend the appropriate asset allocation.
  • External Research
External researchwe use the expertise of several research agencies to help us select the managers and funds we recommend to clients.
